Launched on Ironman’s YouTube channel, the Ali‘i Drive is a set of 10 webisodes released in the lead-up to the 2012 Ironman World Championship.

 

The Ali‘i Drive series captures the human side of Ironman, revealing internal struggles, fears, rituals, and motivations that don’t typically come through in televised race coverage. It paints a more nuanced portrait of what it means to prepare for and compete in one of the world’s most grueling endurance races.

Rather than generic athlete profiles, these videos dive straight into the human stories.
